Sarah Hashem is an intrapreneur who believes in the business case for social good, and helps organizations build strategies to simultaneously grow revenues and impact.

She is a passionate advocate for the “million ones”- the millions of entrepreneurs, hustlers, and artists whose collective contributions truly shape the world we live in. As Director, Programs at Futurpreneur Canada, Hashem helped thousands of entrepreneurs launch and grow small businesses across the country. In 2016, she was recognized by Canadian Business Magazine as one of the top Change Agents redefining the way Canada does business.
In the summer of 2018, Sarah brought her expertise in entrepreneurship to Canada’s vibrant music community, and as Vice President, Strategic Initiatives at Music Canada, she leads projects that foster the careers of artists and contribute to the sustained growth of music businesses in Canada.
Sarah is a Civic Action DiverseCity Fellow (2014), a member of the 2017 Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference, and Board Chair of Business in the Streets, a for-youth-by-youth charity that provides training, mentorship, funding, and ongoing business support for low-resourced, emerging entrepreneurs.
